Stanbic Bank Kenya Collaborates With Orion Innovation

Leading provider of services for digital transformation and product creation, Orion Innovation (“Orion”), announced today that it has partnered with Stanbic Bank Kenya to support an overhaul and modernization of the bank’s fundamental operations. Orion’s Chennai centre in India will handle all of the partnership’s services and deliveries. Orion’s Chennai location, which serves as India’s centre for delivering financial services, offers a cutting-edge innovation lab where custom solutions are created and seamlessly integrated with the Temenos suite. Stanbic Bank Kenya from India will benefit from the vast amounts of data managed by Orion’s team of professionals, who will also guarantee correctness and consistency.

Stanbic Bank Kenya chose Orion, a reliable and globally certified Temenos partner, to upgrade its Transact application from R17 to R23 and transition from TAFC to the new TAFJ standard. More than 6000 local code adaptations and 90+ integrations are part of the big project. Stanbic Bank Kenya will leverage the industry-leading Test Automation tools and services from Orion to shorten the project schedule.
