RBI Final Approval for Online Payment Aggregator Licence is Received by Aurionpro Payments

The Reserve Bank of India has granted final authorization to Aurionpro Payment Solutions Private Limited (Aurionpro Payments), a subsidiary of Aurionpro, to operate as an Online Payment Aggregator under the Payments Settlements Act, 2007 through its payment brand AuroPay. This announcement is made with great pleasure.

This is just another accomplishment for Aurionpro, which for more than 25 years has offered technology solutions for smart cities, transit, and retail and wholesale banking.

A crucial step towards accomplishing their long-term objectives as a payment service provider has been reached with the RBI’s final approval for function as a fully fledged Online Payment Aggregator.

From the beginning, their goal has been to use Aurionpro’s AuroPay technology, which makes payment processing easier in terms of payables and receivables as well as settlement in a safe, secure, and compliant setting, to enable and broaden the reach of online digital payments in India.
